Leaving Behind a Legacy

It all started when I began making ornaments as a young child with my mother. We used typical holiday plaid color ribbons to make a snowflake-like design. Over the years, we shifted the ribbon to white lace and other colors, such as gold, which made the ornament truly resemble a snowflake.

I woke up one morning in 2018, and I decided I wanted to start making these ornaments again. I felt moved to send them to friends that had experienced a loss similar to mine. I sent white snowflakes to each of them with a note letting them know that I would be thinking about them during the holiday season.

I realized that I felt so much joy in sending these special ornaments to my friends, which, for a moment, provided them with a smile.

This is how MEMORNAMENT began. In the end, it’s all about “Keeping Memories Alive.”
